A Word for
Parents
The
region objectives rely on teamwork and fairness to provide a good experience for
the children. Negative behavior is
not appropriate. Parents, coaches
and referees are roll models and should help each other to provide children with
a “have fun” attitude while playing soccer.
Please take into consideration the following:
 | Make
and effort to be supportive of fundraising activities and volunteer in some
way.
|
 | All
persons involved in Fallon AYSO soccer are volunteers. Volunteers make soccer happen.
|
 | Encourage
your child(ren).
|
 | Arrive
early, at least 15 minutes, before a game and practice. Notify the coach when your child(ren) cannot attend.
|
 | Make
and effort to help the coaches in providing refreshments or snacks at games.
|
 | When
possible assist in team practice or a game and provide help where it is
needed.
|
 | Support
Referees.
|
 | CHEER!!!!!!!

Parent
Meetings
Generally
after teams are assigned, each coach will hold a parent meeting. The purpose of
this meeting is for parents to meet with the coach to discuss; practices and
game schedules, AYSO philosophies, parent guidelines and for the coach to answer
any questions the parents might have. This meeting is usually where a team
parent or team mom is selected.
Parents
--- if you drop you child off for practice or a game ---- MAKE SURE you are back 10 minutes before practice/game
is over. Your coach is kind enough
to volunteer his/her time to coach your team.
